I trained for 2 years at college learning the techniques in the art of cake decorating and for both years received a distinction this was a hobby and I am proud of the fact that this has now become my work,
I dedicate this website to my father, who had a terminal illness and passed away July 2006 at the age of 64, which motivated me to start my own business. I also thank my husband Anton for being so understanding, he has built and developed my website, and often sits and makes some of the leaves with me..
My flowers are all individually handmade and look extremely natural, for which people cannot believe that they are made of sugar as they do look so real. My portfolio does consist of Roses, Carnations, Fresias, Poppies, most types of Lillies, Orchids, Sweetpeas, Honeysuckle, Scottish Thistles, Sea Holly, Gerberas, Jasmine, all types of leaves which include the usual ivy, rose but have introduced varigated long and larch leaves, my portfolio is growing by the day.
I do make my own fruit cakes and sponge cakes using the freshest and finest ingredients, which is confirmed by the individual taste for which I have received many handwritten testimonials. The most popular sponge cakes tend to be Lemon madeira or Chocolate,. If you can think of any other combination then please feel free to let me know.
I also cater for gluten free, eggless, diabetic and dairy intolerant as, (one of my relatives is Gluten intolerant, and I have baked many cakes for her where she has stated that these cakes taste just like the ones she was once able to eat).
If you would like make the cake yourself, I am also willing to just ice the cake for which I have done on quite a few occasions.
