Bookings

All bookings must be confirmed by signing the Booking Confirmation form.

The signatory on the booking form is the client. Where the booking is made on behalf of an organisation, that organisation will also be considered the client and will be jointly and severally liable in respect of the booking with the person by whom the booking is made.

The client will be responsible for payment of all charges arising out of the booking including any cancellation fees.

Alterations

Any alterations to the cake decoration  must be provided no later than 28 days, if alterations are provided within 28 days of the booking date, costs will be incurred.

Terms of settlement

A deposit of either credit card, debit card, cash or cheque of £50 is required to secure a confirmed booking. The balance must be paid before the due date on your invoice.

Retention of title

The goods will remain the property of the vendor until the balance has been paid.

Viewing of the cake can take place 1 week prior to the booking date if all tiers are fruit cake, however under circumstances where the cake is sponge, viewing can take place 2 days prior to the booking date.

Cakes

The cakes are available in rich fruit matured with sherry, whiskey, rum or brandy. Lemon and Vanilla Madeira and flavoured sponges. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Unless requested, the fruit cakes are not made with nuts, but all cakes may contain nut traces.

Delivery

Price

The cost of the cake is dependant the size, please see price guide which does not include the price of sugarflowers, cake toppers, the price does include ribbon around the cake and simple decoration such as piped shells and microdots around the cake.

Hire charges

For the hire of stands, the price for this is £15, for use of separators and pillars    inbetween tiers these are included within the price, however for separators and stands a refundable deposit is required, this is £80 which is given back on returning the stand. Hire is on a 6 day basis.
